We had ourselves a pretty eventful week last week! Our Pre-Construction meeting went about as well as possible. The Project Manager for our job was incredibly personable and didn't seem at all bothered by the fact that we're likely to drive by and window shop the site about a dozen times a week! All of out other questions/concerns were easily answered so the meeting was completely painless!
Most importantly, our permits were approved this week and Paparone wasted no time in getting equipment out to the site to start digging! As best as I can tell, it looks like they've already excavated, compacted, and started laying base material for the poured concrete basement and foundation walls. I'm seeing some 40+ degree temps for this week so maybe a concrete delivery soon? note to self: make sure Chase wears his old, dirty sneakers any time we visit the house! That orange dirt was just too tempting for him not to kick!
